Home Visiting

Home Visiting

Early childhood home visiting with Parenting Communities is a direct service to families with children from birth to age 6. Home visits are completely voluntary.

Things home visitors can help with:
  • information on child development
  • providing age-appropriate activities
  • conduct developmental screenings
  • share stress reduction strategies
  • discovering new ways to understand behaviors
  • support families with the complexities of raising a family
  • create shared experiences with children that help prepare them for their lifelong journey of learning
  • reflecting upon family life, parenting, the child(ren), and relationships in a safe, non-judgmental way
  • connect families with other families in the community
  • find access to resources in the community
  • TO HELP PARENTS BE THE PARENTS WE DREAM OF BEING
